Too Long, But I Got The Goods!

Taking too long is the theme of today's post, not only because I took forever in updating yo asses; but also because this playlist is gunna be too long. I wanna just bring you a mess of different types of music and artists, so let's consider today's meal like a buffet style cafeteria, or maybe your neighborhood Golden Corral. If you have any questions on who plays what song I'd be happy to let you know just give me a shout, but for now I'm not gunna list the artists for you. Deal with it! But I do want to apologize for being away from the site, I've been real busy with workin and new music ventures, that the blog got the back burner for a bit. I hope to be back in action, but don't hold me to it. Be patient, let's get to the music now. I packed the sucker with almost 30 tunes, I spread the jam nice and even with some hip-hop a lil bit of indie, and of course some dance. And I also threw in a little desert for ya guys and put up a new WellFed rock mix. Now are u not entertained!

Whats Jamaican?

Formerly known as Poney Poney, Jamaica is the next hottest thing to come out of Paris. Their debut album, No Problem, was produced by Xavier de Rosnay of Justice. Having said that, Jamaica is a grunge rock band with that classic Justice kick drum. I Think I Like U is one of their popular singles that you may know that was released a little bit ago. Catchy lyrics, radical tune. Secrets is one my other favs off of the album...actually the whole album rocks with killer electric riffs and lyrics that make you wanna sing along (even if you don't know them).

Straight from the Motor City

I just got back from a trip to Detroit, MI....and I come bearing gifts! It's something a little different that you would expect from Detroit rock city, but you can still hear the soul of the city throughout the song. The band is Desktop and they have a new EP dropping soon, so in anticipation here's an early appetizer.

Who Could Ever Turn You On

Freezerjams is about to turn everyone on to the dance floor friendly beats of Hey Champ. Comin out of the Windy City, Hey Champ has a sound that is heavily influenced by 80s pop. They were just recently signed to Lupe Fiasco's label 1st and 15th Entertainment. I was fortunate enough to see them when I was in Chicago and their live set is full of SO much energy. Oh and by the way, the lead singer Saam shreds on the guitar. The first song I got coming up is from their DJ set and has this awesome whipping sound throughout it. The second song is a remix of their single "Cold Dust Girl". Make sure to keep your ears open for more info on their debut album coming out soon.
